I am now 50% effaced, although not really dilated. He has dropped a little bit from last week. Doc seems to think that when I start to dilate, things will go quickly. He may even be here within a week! He is estimating his weight to be 7 lbs 9 oz right now, so within another week he can gain anywhere from 1/4 to a whole pound. So we are looking at an 8 pounder.
Hopefully I am not jumping the gun, but I am seriously considering saying Peace Out, see you in 3 months! starting on Friday. Or maybe Thursday. We shall see.

Congratulations on effacement!!! That's great! So, does "peace out" mean to your job or to your blog? Hopefully just to your job. Excited for you.
I am so excited that you are so close! I say hang on there until Friday and call it good.
That is soo exciting!!! Can't wait to hear what happens in the next week -- ELVs!
P.S. - Sorry about the Longhorns... it was a great game. Husband and I live in Lubbock and are med students at Texas Tech, so you can guess who I was rooting for, but both teams played well. :)
