The ET went well. I went with the requisite full bladder. It took a little while for the doc to show up, so I actually had to let a little bit out twice before he made it in. In the procedure room, I got to see a shot of our two embryos (I wasn't sent home with a pic, but I guess I don't really care as long as this works). Then the doc did an ultrasound to make sure my bladder was full enough. He opened a little window (almost looks like a dumbwaiter)and lo and behold, there is the IVF lab! With a catheter with our embryos! A speculum in the lady bits with a full bladder never feels great, but I forgot about it and watched him insert the cath on ultrasound. The lab then checked the catheter under a microscope to make sure there weren't any remaining embryos, and we got the all clear. Whew! The other remaining two embryos will be monitored to see if they continue to grow, and if so, will be frozen. I didn't even think to ask when we would know if they would be frozen.
I also clarified the shape of my uterus with him. I have an arcuate uterus (a normal variation, like he initially told me), not the bicornuate uterus that I no doubt diagnosed myself with by way of Dr. Google. Like a big, paranoid goofball. Again, whew!
Thanks ladies for all the well-wishes and support! I truly appreciate it, and truly need it!
