In no particular order:
- someone in Oregon tried to charge $3300 to our credit card for "specialty food and services." Thankfully the charge was denied because they entered the wrong pin, and the fraud dept for our cc called us immediately.
- I have an arraignment for the aforementioned speeding ticket (and the little a-holes also got me for failure to signal when changing lanes. I'm just bitter because I have never been one of those people that can maneuver their way out of a ticket) on June 5.
- The most important of all of these: got my results for the NT scan and it revealed a very low risk for Down's, roughly 1:7800 or something like that. The blood portion was negative. Woohoo!
- I dragged my husband shopping for baby furniture. We have it picked out, just need to order it and stop waffling on the bedding.
- I have the best girlfriends in the world. They are planning a baby shower for me the last weekend in June. My four busiest girlfriends (two of whom are pregnant) wanted to do something for me before they were due (at the end of July and mid-August), and I simply can't wait.
- My mom is making maternity scrubs for me. I haven't been able to find anything online that is cute in any way, shape or form. My choices are brown, navy, light blue and white {shudder}. My whole life my mom has been itching to make me stuff and I am finally letting her.
- We went browsing for a new/gently used car/SUV. How cliched is that? We looked at the Lex.us R X . We found one that had ~ 8K miles on it and another with only 15K . Of course I lusted after it and started drooling immediately, but I feel I should sit on it and see if it really makes sense for us to buy it. In any event, it sure is pretty.
- On Mother's Day, we took my mother out to eat. Some new parents with a set of boy/girl twins walked by us and it took everything in me not to burst into tears.
- I have been plum exhausted at the end of the work week, so I am going to shift my responsibilities a bit and work an earlier shift. It will mean a bit more sitting for me and much less time on my feet at work. I think I might get bored with this particular duty and shift after a while, so I have made a request to return to my usual stuff after I return from mat. leave.
- I've got the big ultrasound coming up at the 16w4d mark. I should know for sure that we are having a boy then, provided he cooperates.
- Bought a sono.trax doppler off of e.bay and I lurve that thing. It is so reassuring to hear that HB clicking away. It is generally pretty easy to find.
- I have been absolutely terrible about my diet. For the first 10 weeks of pregnancy, I was so good about eating veggies, fruits and all that shizzle. After we lost baby b and I got sick, I aquired a pint-a-day ice cream habit and got cravings for lots of cheese and mexican food. Going back to work helped with the ice cream habit, but I have am still trying to work in the veggies. If I could have chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes daily, I would.
Well, I think that about covers it. I worked until 11 pm on Friday night, so I have been recuperating this weekend with lots of napping. Tomorrow, the hubs and I are going to finish up the baby registry and see my parents.

Yay, thanks for updating. I've been thinking of you! I'm glad your NT ultrasound went well, and I'm hoping you have some good luck on that ticket thing of yours. You sound like you're being really organized with registering and all, good for you! I'm glad all is going well, that's great!
It's great to finally have an update on you guys. Everything sounds like it is going well with you and the pregnancy, so congrats!
Good luck registering and enjoy your upcoming shower.
I've been wondering how you've been doing ~ thanks for the update :) So glad your NT results came back wonderfully, and congrats on your little boy! Have you picked out names yet? Oh, and is your scan at 16w4d your anatomy scan? I want to do mine a little bit early due to travel plans but I wasn't sure what the policy is on that. Keep us posted!
mommd, yes it is the anatomy scan. I was going to have it at 18 weeks but the doc is going to be out of town for 2 weeks so I get mine early. :)
Glad to see an update from you. I have been checking. (:
You have been busy and it sounds like your LO is doing great! I would love to see the scrubs your mom is making. How sweet!
Glad to hear from you! Take a picture when your mom finishes the maternity scrubs!
