Today's Biopsy

Went really well. Very short and sweet, and done with local anesthesia. I have the absorbable sutures in place, with some steri-strips over the incision and some gauze and a tega.derm over that. Didn't feel a thing. So far I have only needed Tyl.enol for discomfort.

Over the weekend, I shared this little drama with some girlfriends. They offered up tales of similar symptoms (via grapevine) that spontaneously resolved after pregnancy or within a couple of months. This did help me step back form the ledge, a bit. Am feeling better about things over all. Hopefully it is just pregnancy-hormone-related and not The Terrible Thing.

Junior is moving around quite a bit now! He is a big fan of B&J's Peanut Butter Cup ice cream. My husband still can't feel the kicks from the outside though.

Many thanks to all of you who dropped by and offered your support! It was very much needed.

I just caught up on the post where you saw the breast surgeon. Sorry my support is late, but I'm so glad the biopsy went smoothly. I understand your fears but I do think that it's all probably pregnancy-hormone related (try to stay off google from now on! ;) ) :::hugs:::

I'm so glad that it went quickly and smoothly. Now I'll be saying some good thoughts for a very boring report. Keep up that peanut butter ice cream and I'll be thinking of you and checking back often ((hugs))

I'm so glad the procedure went well and I hope the results can put this issue to rest for you.

Hang in there and huge hugs.

Hiya, Kaaron, so sorry I am late with my support! Glad to hear the biopsy wasn't too bad, but that sux that you have to even use the word "biopsy" while pg! My stims likely caused my breast tumor last fall, and the doc said pg hormones can wreak havoc on your boobs, so I bet once Jr comes out, you will get to go right back to boob normalness. You know, other than the milk squirting out. : ) Hang in there! Hope you get some relief soon.
